Just to add - our time in Stockholm was very much about Junibacken, Skansen, Gröna Lund, and other child-pleasing activities. But luckily there was also time to wander along the streets of Gamla Stan, enjoy a coffee along Götgatan, and browse the selections of Illum, NK and Biblioteksgatan. It would be lovely to return with a group of friends perhaps - I would love to hear about your favourite spots in Stockholm?Pikkulisäyksenä - Tukholmassa keskityttiin paljolti lasten mielitekoihin, kuten Junibackeniin, Skanseniin ja Gröna Lundiin. Onneksi jäi myös aikaa vanhan kaupungin tutkailuun, kahveihin Götgatanilla ja pyrähdykseen Illumissa, NK:ssa ja Biblioteksgatanin kivoissa kaupoissa. Jäin vähän toivoilemaan uutta Tukholman pyrähdystä ystäväporukalla - olisi hirmuisen mukava kuulla sinun lempipaikoistasi Tukholmassa?

Maarianhaminassa leppoisaa kahvilatunnelmaa Bagarstuganissa (kaksi ylintä) ja Svarta kattenissa (neljä keskimmäistä). Engelin suunnittelma Post och Tullhus on vaikuttava ilmestys meren äärellä Eckerössä (kaksi viimeistä, ulkokuvat eivät sadesäällä onnistuneet tai innostaneet). Calm and relaxing coffee moments at Bagarstugan (two at the top) and Svarta katten (the black cat, four in the middle) in Mariehamn. Designed by Engel, Post och Tullhus is an impressive sight at the seafront in Eckerö (last two, it was raining and photos of the exterior just didn't happen).
Ylimmän himpun boheemimpi takapiha oli piristävä poikkeus Maarianhaminan säntillisesti siistittyjen puutarhatonttien lomassa. Alinta säesti pehmeä ruotsalaisjazzi, selvästi oli mukavat bileet pystyssä. The slightly more bohemian backyard at the top was an pleasant exception to Mariehamn's neat and orderly gardens. The bottom picture accompanied by smooth Swedish jazz, clearly a great party in full swing.

Thank you for bringing me cheer with your messages while I've been gone. We're back home safe and sound after a spot of camping on the Åland islands, then the luxury of a few days in the heart of Stockholm.
